CPAP Shown To Reduce Daytime BP in Resistant Hypertension
Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in patients with resistant hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea significantly lowered daytime blood pressure, says study. At The Kidney and Hypertension Group, we assess our patients for the presence of sleep apnea, and approach all possible causes for resistant hypertension. Our goal always is to optimize your blood pressure, with no adverse symptoms and as few drugs as possible. Both Drs. Valle and Bejar in our group are Certified Hypertension Specialists.
