CELEBRITY DIABETIC, VANESSA WILLIAMS
Our celebrity diabetic this month is the beautiful singer and "Desperate Housewives" star, Vanessa Willaims. A Type 1 diabetic, she shares this trait with her grandmother. Her brother Chris is an advocate for The American Diabetes Association, as well. Vanessa wrote about the impact of diabetes on the black community in her book-Healthy Child, Healthy World.
