The World According to Your Kidney

2 things we just don't think about-our kidneys..that is until something goes wrong and a doctor is telling you percentages of function of something you never thought twice about. Sure sometimes your urine smells weird or the color is off and it gives you pause so for a moment you think "what's up with my kidneys?" or you have to go and no bathroom in sight..but mostly -day in and day out-your body's little computers are purifying your blood(more on that later..it is the key to health)and balancing your salt and fluid and producing hormones)(did you know that your kidney produces the hormone that makes us produce red blood cells?..that's why when the kidney fails you get anemic(its not that they bleed!!) its just that the hormone is no longer made in sufficient quantities.
What can be done to preserve the little suckers..when they are still healthy..or what can be done if they are a little sick..alot sick? Much. Check back and I will teach you what I know and about why above all our wonderful bodies do-I just love the kidneys.
